Sentara Healthcare partnered with MDLIVE to expand access to quality, convenient healthcare for the community. While not a replacement for the primary care physician - patient relationship, this service provides a new option for minor healthcare issues. Using the latest technologies in web and telecommunications, consumers and physicians are able to engage in real time, interactive consultations whenever and wherever they are. Board Certified and credentialed physicians, both in and outside the Sentara network, are available 24/7 to diagnose, recommend treatment and prescribe medication when appropriate.
-
Our provider network is comprised of physicians Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics; as well as trained, licensed mental health professionals who provide counseling and psychiatric care.
-
State-licensed to practice in your state, US Board Certified, and credentialed using NCQA and URAC guidelines and URAC guidelines.
-
Providers located in Virginia are also credentialed by Sentara and Optima Health, and Sentara Medical Group physicians will be expanding the MDLIVE contracted network of providers over time in Virginia and Northeast North Carolina.
-
